1) BLESSED FAMILY FEARS THE LORD ( Ps 128:1-4)
1 Blessed are all who fear the LORD,
who walk in his ways.
2 You will eat the fruit of your labor;
blessings and prosperity will be yours.
3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine
within your house;
your sons will be like olive shoots
around your table.
4 Thus is the man blessed
who fears the LORD."
" The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogance, and the evil way and the froward mouth, do I hate." Pv 8:13
2) BLESSED FAMILY WALKS IN HIS WAYS ( V.1 b)
" Blessed is the man , who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners; nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night." Ps 1: 1-2
" things that we have heard and known, that our fathers have told us . We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders which he has wrought. He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers to teach to their children; that the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their children , so that they should set their hope in ." Ps 78: 3-7
3) IN THE BLESSED FAMILY, GOD'S THE LORD
" Unless the Lord builds the house , those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city , the watchman stays awake in vain. It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep. Lo, sons are heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward ." Ps 127:1-3
" The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of the trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him." Na 1: 7
" As for the rich in this world , charge them not be haughty , nor set their hopes on uncertain riches but in God who richly furnishes us with everything to enjoy." 1 Tm 6:17
When we put our hope in God, we rejoice in Him or we will harvest the fruit of our wrong choices...
God's mercy , remain over us!
